This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Moana as she sets sail across the Pacific to save her village and discover the truth about her heritage. Moana and the legendary demigod Maui embark on an epic journey of self-discovery and camaraderie as both learn to harness the power that lies within. With empowering messages of bravery and selflessness, Moana JR. is sure to bring out the hero within each of us.

Capri & Village students grades 3rd-5th. Students may only participate in drama program offered at the school in which they are currently enrolled.

Auditions on Tuesday, December 2 at 2:40 pm-6:00 pm, and Thursday, December 4 at 2:40 pm-6:00 pm located in the Cafeteria at Capri Elementary School.
Parent Meeting is on Friday, December 5 from 6:30-7:30pm located at Marshall Lane Elementary School in the Cafeteria. PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of 10 parent volunteer hours is expected per family. We require at least 6–8 committed parent volunteers to successfully run the show. If we do not meet this minimum, the production may be canceled.
Drama rehearsals are weekly on Tuesdays from 2:40pm-6:00pm and Thursdays starting Tuesday, December 9 -Thursday, February 26 including selected Fridays on 12/12, 1/9, 1/23, 2/6 from 2:40pm-6:00pm. NOTE: drama rehearsals on Tuesday, 2/24 and Thursday, 2/25 are from 2:40pm-5:00pm. Your students ability to attend scheduled rehearsals will be one of the factors in determining the role your child receives. If there are too many schedule conflicts, then your child will be asked to reconsider participating in the play.
No class on 12/22-1/2, 1/19 and 2/16-2/20.
Costume Fitting drama rehearsals located at Marshall Lane Elementary School Cafeteria on Wednesday, January 28 and Friday, January 30 at 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Starbright Mandatory Safety Meeting on Monday, March 2 at 6:15-6:30pm.
Move in Day is Monday, March 2 at 12:30pm-2:00pm and Strike Day is Saturday, March 7 at 6:40pm.
Tech week is Monday, March 2 - Wednesday, March 4 from 6:15pm-8:30pm located at Starbright Theater in Campbell, Ca.
Drama performances are schedule on Thursday March 5 at 7:00 pm, Friday March 6 at 7:00 pm, Saturday March 7 at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm located at Starbright Theater in Campbell, Ca.
(The videotaping or other video or audio recording of this production is strictly prohibited.)

Please note that this year there will be no concessions or other items sold at the performances. No outside vendors or representatives will be authorized to distribute or sell products on-site. We kindly ask that all participants and vendors respect this arrangement.
COST: $350.00 All registration fees are non-refundable once auditions have concluded and the cast list has been posted, prior to the start of rehearsals — no exceptions. 75% Scholarships are available to Homeless or Foster Youth and Free/Reduced lunch status families. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. 1) Be sure to create an ARUX account online and 2) email us at cusdexpandedlearning@campbellusd.org to request the discount. Discounted price is: $87.50. You can also set up a payment plan for the discounted price.
Space is limited to 32 students only (per Drama Directors capacity limitation) and online registration is based on first come, first served. Last day to register online is 11/17.
