Learn the basics of basketball in a fun after school setting. Learn sportsmanship & different basketball routines while having fun.

Our coaches will arrive at your school site for 1 hour on one day with knowledge of the game and children to give quality instruction to all participants. During the course of the season instructors will teach skills like dribbling, trapping, passing, throw-ins, scoring and defense in a safe, educational and fun environment. Join South Bay Area tennis at Marshall Lane Elementary (grades 1st-5th). Students will learn and play both Tennis and Pickleball in a supportive and fun environment. For both portions of this program, we use portable nets set up on blacktops, creating a versatile playing surface. Our goal is to inspire a love for both sports and encourage students to continue their journeys on real tennis and pickleball courts. In the tennis portion of the program, students will develop their skills by utilizing low compression tennis balls, specifically designed to enhance learning for beginners. Through a variety of interactive games and activities, students will improve their hand-eye coordination, footwork, and overall technique while having a blast! In addition to tennis, students will also have the opportunity to experience the exciting game of pickleball. This fast-paced and inclusive sport combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, providing a unique and enjoyable playing experience. (Tennis Rackets will not be provided so please have students bring their tennis rackets to class. Chess Wizards teaches children many important life concepts, such as learning the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. At the end of this session, each student will have had the chance to participate in a mini-chess tournament day of friendly competition that's open to K-5 grades!

Electrical Engineering: Electrified & Lego Robotics - RoboBattles:Get ready to engineer, invent, and compete! In Electrical Engineering, students will use the Engineering Design Process to design, build, test, and refine their own electronic creations. They’ll explore the fundamentals of circuits and experiment with electronic components to discover how electricity powers the world around us. Students will build their own working flashlights, investigate magnetic energy, and take on hands-on challenges that bring engineering concepts to life.In LEGO® Robotics: Battle Bots, students will design, build, program, and control robots created to compete in exciting challenges, including SumoBots, Jousting, Catapult Challenges and more. Working in pairs, students will use LEGO® Robots and computers to develop skills in robotics, coding, problem-solving, and teamwork as they battle their way to victory!

Junior Electrical Engineering & RoboCoding - Turbo Bricks: Start your engines and turn on your lights! During the first half of the session, students will explore the exciting world of LEGO® Robotics. Working in pairs, they'll design, build, code, and race their own robotic vehicles using LEGO bricks and laptops or tablets. Along the way, they'll strengthen their problem-solving, engineering, coding, and teamwork skills while having a blast on the fast track!During the second half of the session, students will get charged up for Electrical Engineering!
